“I aimed to create a platform that combined the personal touch of a blog with the polished standards of a renowned print publication. Initially, Scotch & Smoke was simply a passion project and a hobby. Having experienced some success in an unrelated industry, I was relishing life and sharing my experiences on my private social media. Simultaneously, my business had reached a stage where it no longer necessitated my daily supervision. I maintain a small close-knit circle, consisting mostly of fellow entrepreneurs and childhood friends, who share similar interests. We frequently exchange recommendations on travel destinations, cigars, the finest spirits, etcetera. It struck me one day that documenting our shared interests, along with the interests of like-minded individuals, could potentially lead to business opportunities. No matter where this road takes me, Scotch & Smoke will always be a project that I am deeply passionate about.”
